Paraplegic Centre Peshawar

Established under the Paraplegic Centre (Taking Over & Re-establishment) Act of 2009, the Paraplegic Centre Peshawar (PCP) stands as Pakistan’s only dedicated facility offering comprehensive rehabilitation services for individuals with spinal cord injuries. Founded with a vision to empower people across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the country to reach their full physical and psychosocial potential, PCP provides free-of-cost care including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, vocational training, psychological counseling, wheelchair accessibility, and community reintegration. The center’s mission extends beyond clinical support—advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, raising awareness among medical professionals, government officials, and society at large. With key performance indicators such as patient recovery rates, successful job placements, accessibility improvements, and community engagement metrics, PCP continues to transform lives and foster inclusion, mobility, and dignity for those often left behind.
